Summer Camp

I bet you could guess why I haven't been posting, (look at the title), I got back from boy scouts summer camp on saturday. It was AWESOME!!! Ok, I'll start from the begining. Ok, first I heard that I was elected for the order of the arrow, the order of the arrow is a service orginization through our councel, (we are in the mid-iowa councel), so to get into the order of the arrow, you have to complete an ordeal witch is basicly help with service projects and Keeping silent for 24 hours and stuff like that. So then we went to sunmmer camp in St. Joe Missouri. the name of the camp is camp gieger and their councel is the pony express councel. So from monday through thursday, we worked on merit badges and stuff like that, on thursday night, we went to the tap-out ceremony for Mic-O-Say, (Mic-osay is like the order of the arrow for the pony express councel), so we went to that and what they do is have a tapper, (the guy who picks the people to be tested for the tribe of mio-say..oh, did i tell you that its based on an indian tribe?), anyway, so they started the ceremony, and how the ceremony works, is they have everyone stand in a circle, and the tapper run on the inside of the circle and pick the canadates one by one and I was picked second! so i am in mic-o-say and i had to stay silent for 24 hours and help in service projects and run.....you run a lot. so thats preatty much it. it was a lot of fun.
